How bundles work

A bundle is the collection of yarn a crafter needs to recreate your project, exactly as it's described in your pattern. You add a bundle from within the pattern's own listing, so it's always tied to that specific pattern.

A bundle makes life easier for the crafter, since they no longer have to go hunting for the right yarn elsewhere. It also means more for you: when someone buys yarn through your bundle, you earn a substantial share of that revenue too, alongside what you earn from the pattern itself.

What you can include

You can choose from a huge database of yarn, covering nearly every brand out there. If a yarn exists, chances are it's in there, so you don't need to worry about not finding what you used. Right now, bundles can only include yarn, not hooks, needles, or other materials.

You can technically mix yarn from different brands in one bundle. In practice, this usually happens because a creator's local yarn shop happened to stock a mix, so that's what they used. It's worth knowing that a crafter buying your bundle often can't get the exact same brands you used, since they're limited to what their own local shop carries. When a bundle sticks to one brand, substituting becomes much simpler for them, since they only have to match one brand's weight and gauge, not several.

Sizing and quantities

You can add sizing to a bundle, currently standardized clothing sizes from XXS to 5XL. For each size, you set the quantity needed per product, so the bundle always matches what the crafter is making. The quantities you set are a starting point, a crafter can still adjust them before buying, say to add more or reduce it if they already have some yarn at home.

Color is a suggestion, not a lock

The color you pick when building a bundle shows crafters what you made, it doesn't limit what they can buy. A crafter can still choose a different color for the same yarn. If you made your sweater in purple, a crafter can order the exact same bundle in yellow instead. The pattern and the materials stay the same, only the color changes.

Where it ships from

We work with brands, shops, and distributors worldwide, so crafters can easily get everything they need to start a new project. When someone places an order, it ships from the closest location.
